like birds in flight
a heart
goes winging
as storm winds stir
beating upward
ever onward
anxious searching
currents lifting
gaining soaring
flitter fly
sunlight shines
above the tempest
others joining
bringing comfort
rise together
light’s glow leading
strengthened carried
toward warmer climes
flitter flutter fly
